Peer review & publication ethics

Our review process and ethics policy follow COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics) guidelines.

Peer Review Process

Every submission goes through double-blind peer review -- reviewers do not know the author's identity and authors do not know the reviewers' identity.

1Initial editorial screening for scope and quality (1-2 weeks).
2Double-blind review by two independent reviewers (4-8 weeks).
3Editorial decision: accept, minor revisions, major revisions, or reject.
4Revised manuscripts are re-reviewed before final acceptance.

Publication Ethics

This journal follows the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) core practices on the following:

1Plagiarism: all submissions are screened for originality before review.
2Authorship: all listed authors must have made a substantive contribution.
3Conflicts of interest: authors and reviewers must disclose any competing interests.
4Retraction: published work found to violate ethics standards will be corrected or retracted per COPE guidelines.
